You will create a Photo Story or Movie Maker project highlighting the life and accomplishments of the Canadian of your choice. The project must include images, text, narration and music.
Using the internet, do research on your famous Canadian. You will need to know much about this person in order to complete the assignment.
The project must include the following information. First Name Last Name Date of Birth Date of Death (If applicable) Place of Birth (City and Province) Family and childhood Information EducationAccomplishments: what the person did that made him/her a famous Canadian? These are all of the things he/she did in his/her lifetime that are important. Impact: in other words, what difference did the person’s accomplishments make to Canada or the world? For instance, Terry Fox's accomplishments were that he attempted to run across Canada to raise money for cancer research. He did this with only one leg, after having lost his other leg to cancer. Examples of the impact of this are that he made Canadians more aware of cancer and the need for research, he inspired many Canadians to think about how lucky they were, and that if he could do it, they could. Fascinating facts and trivia: Any information that you think is interesting if not particularly important that you would like to add to the project. Quote: a quotation said by this person or a quote about this person made by someone else. (Optional)
